Our Course.

Malkins Bank Golf Course, opened in 1976, was designed by the world-renowned Hawtree Golf Course Architects and Construction. The course has matured into a challenging test of golf, featuring tree-lined fairways and undulating landscapes.

Our History.

Bordering the scenic Trent & Mersey Canal, the course is enhanced by a small river that flows through the entire area, adding to its natural beauty and appeal.

  • Here at Malkins Bank Golf Club we want to welcome all golfers and provide a golf club that is open to all, whilst still keeping the feel of a private club. For this reason we ask all golfers to wear the correct attire and abide by our dress code.

    None of the following are permitted: Denim Jeans, Tracksuits, Football / Rugby Tops, Football / Rugby Shorts, Swim Shorts, Bare Chests, Vests, Hoodies, Boots.

    Golf shoes are to be worn at all times. If you’re not sure on the dress code, please contact the Pro Shop.

  • If you wish to join the Members Club in order to play in club competitions (Mens, Ladies or Mixed), the annual fees are £72 per person per calendar year.

    Everyone’s club (competition) membership expires on 31st December each year and all members will need to renew in January to ensure they continue to qualify to play in club competitions.   • You are required to register in the Pro Shop before signing in with the starter in the starters hut on the 1st tee at least 10 minutes before your allocated tee time.

    Once you have signed in with the starter in the starters hut, your official tee time is that given to you by the starter who may have to ask you to start earlier or later as a result of someone not turning up.
